I have sensitivity issues in one ear and have tried other designs with plastic hooks but this design works best with my ears and curly hair. The buttons don't catch on the hair and the plastic clasp that adjusts the length works great. After a few uses, the plastic adjustment latch stopped working, but that's quickly fixed. The strap simply slipped under the spring mechanism in the clasp. Once you adjust the position of the cable over the internal spring, it's working again! This is a great product. If you have curly hair, give it a try. Your mask stays secure and you don't pull your hair.
