I installed and worked to my satisfaction after several visits to different pages on the Foscam website. I had to install over WIFI as I didn't have any ethernet ports available for a wireless internet connection. I used my Android phone to download the Foscam app and followed the steps to add the camera via WIFI. The app requires you to create a Foscam account (free) and then walks you through the steps to add your camera. After that I wanted to view the camera in my PC's web browser, but I needed the IP address and HTTP port number. into the URL field of the web browser. I used the tool downloaded from Foscam to find out the camera's IP address and port number. I later discovered that this information is also available in the Android app that is used to view the camera. I entered the IP address and port number (xxx.xxx.xx:PORT#) in the browser url and got a login screen and a notification to download and install the plugin. I was prompted to log in again and was able to go through a brief setup to see the live camera feed. Everything was fine except that I didn't see an option to play the videos stored on the camera's micro SD card. . Eventually I contacted Foscam support and they told me that I need to use Internet Explorer (not Edge, Firefox or Chrome) to play the saved videos. They responded with information within minutes. As a side question, I asked if they plan to support modern browsers and improve the user experience. Again, they were quick to respond and said they plan to add more browser support and improve user experience in the near future. The camera looks well made and the picture quality is very good. It comes with a brief trial of their cloud storage, but I'm not interested in paying a recurring fee for camera storage.
