This Tripp Lite Isobar is solid and has served me well. I purchased this item while in TN. Storms came without warning and power surges were almost a daily occurrence. For less than $100. I purchased an item to save my computer that cost over $1,000. In fact, there's a good chance I'll buy a few more. This protection is well made and includes EMI/RFI filtering with isolated filter banks, which I really, really like, as well as a long cord for flexibility when used in remote outlets or a more ideal surge protection location. This is not a small item hidden under a small space, but a very solid, well-made silencer. I have been using this company's products in my doctor's office for many years and they continue to hold up well. I was not given anything for free and my opinion/rating was not solicited. This is given in the hope that you will have the same quality as me with this item.
