Was very happy to try this. I currently use a french press to make a cold drink, but it's such a hassle to take all the parts apart to clean after each use. I really wanted something simple and easy to clean. But despite the fact that this thing is very simple and easy to clean, that's all I can say about it. It hasn't even been 5 hours and all I see is sediment floating in the jar (I even made sure it's very big). I will not be using the supplied gauze bag for further filtration, this is even more ridiculous than taking apart and washing all the parts of my french press. Another reviewer mentioned that the silicone cap doesn't allow the filter to sit properly. Inside the bank they are correct. You have to put pressure on him and even then he's crooked. I was dying to try it, love how smooth it is and how durable it feels. But longevity isn't the only important factor here, I think the top priority is keeping the grist in the filter. i will return it
