I first bought them hoping to hang summer dresses or short tight skirts on them. I was fully aware that they were meant for ties, so I knew the question of whether I could use them on my dresses or skirts was pretty far off. When I arrived after opening the box, I knew my sundresses wouldn't hang well on it. However, since it was 2 packs, I use one to hang bodycon skirts. I just fold the skirts in half and they fit well. I also hang leggings on it, folded in half. **** You can hang baby clothes on it by simply placing baby pants or clothes on the different sections. The other one I used to hang my friend's ties on is perfect for this! The non-slip coating works well. These hangers are very durable and very well made so I would recommend them primarily for hanging ties for their intended purpose but as I said there are other uses as well.
