It is as described. . but it smells so awful

I'm actually updating this review after owning it a few times. I washed and washed them and put them in the sun for a few days hoping that they would air out and go out and stop smelling. I don't know if it's glue or what, but this thing absolutely stinks. Last time I literally washed it 4 times in dish soap and detergent and softer. Then I put it in the sun and it stayed there for almost a whole week. I put it back in my bag and packed it in the bag I take with me on vacation. Every time I walk into the room next to this bag, I smell this thing. It's comfortable and true to the description, but I can't get rid of the smell. It's really terrible. I'm not putting that thing in the car. convenient thing. To be honest I didn't get it as a footstool but to put a few things down in the shower and outside. However, I will probably disassemble it at some point and use it as a footstool. It is very small and easy to store. It's perfect for what I wanted it for. Cheer up even though it stinks. I mean it really stinks. I said it outside during the day. But it still smelled. I just hand washed it in the kitchen sink and dried it outside in the sun. Much better. I like that. It costs money.
