Review on πŸ’‘ Ensenior High Brightness Ultra Thin Can Killer Downlight by Michael Godo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really good product

Bought a pack of six to replace traditional kitchen lamps. The connectors in the J-Box are easy to use, and the color temperature selector is a nice touch. The J-Box connects to the light itself with a quick-release connector that secures with a nut. The product is very bright, just what I wanted for my kitchen and offers a much nicer aesthetic compared to my old can lamps. Generally very satisfied, a few hours of work changed the lighting in my kitchen. First note for those looking to buy these: J-Boxes do not come with NM fittings, you will need to purchase multiple 3/8" fittings for the feed and load line inlets into the box. DO NOT install without these will create a fire hazard and you will fail the test when doing permitting work. The only criticism I have of this product is that the instructions literally show installation with no connectors in perforated holes, which isn't really good. Second, a note for these retrofit pitcher lights - the diameter of my pitcher lights was roughly the same outside diameter of this light, ie it did not seat properly in the opening on its own as the opening was too large to provide comfortable contact with the ceiling along around the rim around the mount In this case I recommend using a jester ring to give the mount a little more diameter. I've had good experience using the Sunco 12 pack for 5" or 6" downlights (available from Revain, just search for it).
