Review on Continental ContiVikingContact 7 205/55 R16 94T winter by Mateusz Sujak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, good quality, not bad.

Winter tires Continental VikingContact7. These tires are used in size 205/60 R16 on a Nissan Laurel 2.0 car, automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, rear differential lock in the Far East, Hong Kong Territory. During the winter season, the tires showed excellent grip in the city, as well as on the highway. They retained their elasticity at temperatures down to -30 degrees. When driving uphill, in low gear, the tires showed reliable grip, which gave confidence on the road in the city, as well as on the highway. On icy hills and on the track, you need to move with caution, since studded tires are needed for such a road. The short stopping distance is also a plus. Emergency braking from a speed of 50 km/h is possible. Despite the clearance of the car, which is around 14 cm, overcoming snow-covered areas due to the directional tread pattern was not difficult. Traction in such conditions was at the highest level. About comfort. The ride on these tires is excellent, not to mention the acoustic comfort. The structure of the tread pattern makes itself felt, I will also say that for winter tires this drawback is not significant, since the rumble is reduced by closed windows, standard sound insulation, music and the good condition of the car's suspension. In general, the Continental VikingContact7 tires left a positive impression of use.

Pros
  • Ride, stability, handling, grip.
Cons
  • Acoustic comfort
