I bought it specifically for my home office (not playing) and am very happy so far. Thunderbolt 4 with PD works fine with my Macbook Pro 16 (Intel). My webcam is connected to the monitor, so all I have to do is connect a Thunderbolt cable from the display to my MacBook and I'm good to go. Compared to my old Dell laptop display and setup where I had power, HDMI and a few USB devices plugged in. The display is sharp no matter what scaling I use in the Mac display settings. The brightness and clarity are great for long work days, and I'm currently using the built-in speakers for audio and conference calling, which seem to work well. It's also really nice to be able to use Thunderbolt 4 power, which charges my MacBook when it's plugged in.
