The good news is that Mac doesn't require drivers. The picture is decent, but not outstanding. If you use FaceTime on a Mac, only use it in 720P mode. Zoom seems to be using a higher resolution. The actual lens has a wider angle than cameras that typically come with laptops and desktop Macs. Bad news: the sound quality is terrible. If you open the Midi Audio app on a Mac, you will see that this camera's built-in microphone only reproduces up to 16kHz. Even the old Macally cameras sampled up to 44.1kHz. What's more, the "noise cancellation/cancellation" actually produces a horrible whistling and squeaking noise. I would advise against using this camera unless you have a good quality separate microphone. On an iMac or Mac laptop, you can go to the Video menu in FaceTime and choose the built-in microphone or a different microphone if you have one connected.
