I've owned about 10 pairs of Minnetonkas over the years and love them. size that fits. Always either too big or too small. When I saw almost the same style in elk skin for $69 instead of the usual $80-83, I jumped at it. I already have a black and tan moose skin with a different type of sole and also had a moose skin with a pebble sole which eventually evaporated. wear after 20 years. The elk leather will definitely stretch when worn. But then they become the most comfortable thing ever on your feet. It's strange that there are no half sizes with this style. I usually wear a size 9.5 and this would probably fit me perfectly out of the box. But like I said I know they will stretch so I have a 9 which is comfortable at the moment but I will only be wearing them barefoot or in very thin socks for a while. But they already feel great. Moose leather is more expensive, but if you can find a similar item and the right fit, it's worth it in the long run.
