I'm very wary of detergents and their effects on clothes, linens and towels. This is by far one of the best products for all your stuff and it REALLY does what it says it does. Your towels will feel noticeably different the first time you use them - tactile, brighter colors and yes, softer (although no fabric softener). All your clothes will come, even heavily washed items will come closer to their original colors. What appears to have disappeared is the "white haze or mist" that has covered your clothes for years. Everything appears to be "resized," not warped or stretched from years of use, and yet no "rigidity" is expected for a resizing solution. This after a few months of use. I'm so impressed that I've started rewashing recently used clothes and adding them to existing batches of used clothes so I can 'rejuvenate' them without increasing the wash load but still increasing their effectiveness. My only complaint is that the product is quite expensive for regular use, but as you can see I really think it's worth the price.
