Chocolate brain is more chestnut than anything else. You can see the difference in my photos. I have a darker brown color, but it's not something I would classify as just "dark brown", there are reddish tones. I used to paint the box chocolate brown. Since then I stopped dying and showing the gray hair. Anyway, I've now ordered dark brown. I hope I don't need black. We will see. Though I don't mind some oddly colored dreadlocks. It looks fine. Also, I woven my real hair into extensions to even out the color a bit. Apart from the color variation, they are of pretty good quality. They are very stiff at first but as you work with them they loosen up. Gradually I add more dreadlocks. I wasn't sure if my job would allow me to keep them if I couldn't cover them, but so far so good. I hope I can get the whole bottom half of the dreadlocks straight without any problems.
