I was disappointed that there was no size chart here for reference. I guessed and ordered Wednesday. I had to grow small. (My hips for reference: 36 inches.) They're not very big, but big enough to be baggy. They are high-waisted and unfortunately have to be worn high-waisted on me. I have an apple shape and I put all my weight on my stomach while my legs are much smaller so I prefer to wear pants under my stomach. Some high-waisted pieces can be rolled up easily, but when I tried them, the crotch was horribly out of place. They're soft and comfortable, but I would definitely call them an underlayer and not wear them alone. It's not that they're flimsy or transparent. It's just that the material they're made of and the way the material looks are so similar to the bottom layer leggings that I just don't feel like they look polished enough to wear them to carry alone. The quality seems good enough.
