I am reviewing this based on your concerns and my experience. Will it suit you? If you have hair that doesn't want to wrap around the wand, you're going to have a hard time. If you have very long or very thick hair, you can run into problems. If you have thin and thin hair, you may find it difficult. I have fine curly hair so it tends to curl up in spirals of smaller and smaller diameters. When I twist it, it breaks into big spirals. So I was looking for a barrel that would take advantage of my hair's tendency to spiral, but twist it into bigger curls. So whether these wands will work for you depends on your hair type. The ads and responses didn't properly answer my questions about what you're getting. So there is no information in the ad. What sizes are in the pack? Packaged in 3 sizes. See photo. Each size has two sets: one set of clockwise spiral and one set of counter-clockwise spiral. The smallest size has 18 green and 18 yellow. The medium size has 18 yellow-orange and 18 pink. Large size 14 orange and 14 purple. Are clips in the package? Yes. They are in sachets in the middle of the pack. Are there instructions on the pack? Divide your hair into sections. Start at the bottom of the head. Twist the hair at the root, hook the stick at the base of the scalp, wrap the hair from the roots down and secure the ends with a clip. If your hair is unruly or frizzy, you can coil the entire shaft, not just the roots. The curlers themselves are big, bright, hard, and did I mention big? I prep my hair for curling and my hair loves to be curled so it was easy for me to style. My hair is pretty short at the moment (shoulder length) so I wish the wands were shorter. It will take some effort to figure out how I want to use them in terms of style and customization. But I don't have any problems with rods at all. They are very sweet.
