They are great for my 18 month old daughter. She liked her brother's wellies, but their sizes 7-8 were too bulky for her. These size 7 boots are fantastic for her. They walked well the first time she put them on. She can climb onto chairs and they don't slide down, and they don't slide down when she's carrying them in her car seat (with her legs dangling). They have a strong rubber smell and some of the rubber around the sole has chipped off into small pieces. This delamination appears to be just excess rubber and not something affecting the boot.
