Replacement paint for old version of Winsor Newton Clear Yellow
About 5 years ago I noticed that my new tubes of Winsor Newton Clear Yellow (my favorite yellow of all watercolors) had changed significantly. I used Hillary Page's color guide to determine what pigments were in the old version and found that this color has the exact same pigments. This is a beautiful yellow that is accurately described on Daniel Smith's website. It's a bit more opaque than the old Transparent Yellow, but mixes with really nice oranges and greens.
