I've had the slap cutter for about a year now and I'm very satisfied. I use it to chop onions, peppers, celery and other veggies. I stay away from big nuts and carrots because I'm afraid they'll break. The cheese grater suits me. I use it for my cheese in tacos, chili, and salads. I love that it can chop veggies very finely for salsa and soups to give them more flavor. I accidentally dropped my chopper just a few feet and the protection ripped so I'm extra careful now but it still works fine. I would give this product 5 stars out of 5 but they must build this grinder with the best materials. Advantages: 1) Easy assembly and disassembly for cleaning. 2) Can be washed in the dishwasher. Some foods are stuck or need cleaning. 4) Comes with two different sizes of heating elements. 5) Both the swatter and the grater are very easy to use. Cons: 1) Must be made of more durable plastic.
