They have been mounted on an Omaha standard bracket. I'm sure they and the lanterns they hold are safe. The lights look great and the reflector works well. As long as the lanterns last this will remain a five star rating. I bought these lights to make side markers and another brand. for 4" round rear wheels. I ended up returning another brand's 4" round lights and bought these brands after seeing the difference in quality side by side. These lights fit snugly into a well made socket, have copper wiring with appropriate Strength and pre-installed dielectric grease Plugs that fit snugly into the headlight Another brand had thin aluminum wire, no dielectric grease, the plug barely snapped into the headlight with any holding force (I was planning on gluing it) and came loose into the grommet where I could easily pop the headlight out with a finger (had considered plugging them in too) I recommend paying a bit more and getting these lights for the reasons above.
