As all garments vary, follow sizing guidelines. They fit my son perfectly for the boy scouts. He is 5'2" and 80 lbs. A 14 fits perfectly. Other brands require him to be a 16 so follow their instructions. I would say these are a bit large. They are a good weight and quality. They appear sturdy and well made.. would happily buy the next size up just in case.They are a lot cheaper than formal boy scout pants and I think they look even better.Same olive colour.
