I bought the A5+ with high expectations based on the reviews I read. The build quality appears to be a solid and pleasant product. Plug them in and simply pair them with iPhone Bluetooth. However, the Bluetooth connection dropped after a few songs and would connect and disconnect randomly at times. Initial sound quality was decent and the bass notes really resonated. However, this came at the cost of muddy mids and lack of clarity. Vocals were stifled with too much bass and weren't clear. I had a much better sound than Kanto YU6 and decided to keep Kanto after comparing A/B between them. Gave my wife a blind A/B hearing test and she too agreed with my thoughts and impressions. After reading a lot of positive reviews, there's a chance I got a "lemon". But based on my listening and testing, I would definitely recommend the Kanto AudioEngine if you're looking for clean, clear music with great sound.
