These are my first flameless candles. My husband was not happy with my purchase as he prefers real candles. However, after a few days, he liked them and commented on how good they looked. He's also impressed with the remote control and ease of use. We now have one in every bathroom for evening lighting and others add a beautiful glow to the dining table. As for me, I am very satisfied with these rechargeable flameless candles. The charging cable and remote control are easy to use and the charge lasts very long. Upon receipt I charged the candles for 1 hour and after 5 days they were strong. I even kept a pair for a full 24 hours. You can use the remote control to adjust the brightness of the candle, and when you turn it on, the color of the "flame" becomes golden yellow. When off, the "flame" is white like a candle. The flickering "flame" actually reflects and glows on nearby surfaces, just like a real candle. These candles produce no heat, smoke or odor. They are not waterproof and should not be used outdoors or in hot weather for long periods of time (they are made of wax and melt in hot weather). After the first set I ordered 3 more sets. I remind you that it is imperative to remove the plastic. Pull the tab on the remote control. This plastic is the protection of the battery. After removal, the remote control works. In addition, according to the instructions, the charging time should not be more than 1-2 hours. I hope this company will add more decorative versions and special outdoor candles to this line.
