I like this little journal! It is sturdy and the brown paper is a good quality. Paper is not thin and stands up to pens and markers. I use it to keep all my notes corralled in one place! Such as notes I write down for small recipes, something I saw on TV, or a book title I want to read, notes about using my smartphone, etc. Just a catchall so I dont have bits of paper notes everywhere.The size is very manageable to take along with you if needed. I also use it for sketching and I think the paper is sturdy enough for a light wet media if you wanted to use it for watercolor.No, it is not real animal leather, but I think it is attractive and I think will last quite awhile. I'd purchase again because it is so useful in keeping me organized. I bought the bird design and it is lovely!
