Straight seat, idle problems fixed!
However I have not replaced it due to code issues on my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L engine but I have had very poor throttle response on slow starts and sometimes on a truck. idling below 500rpm when coming to a stop at a red light, causing my truck to almost stall without even stepping on the accelerator. This seems to have solved my problem and it drives and idles and runs like a new truck again. The perfect fit and disassembly of the old part and exchange for a new one, including clamps, took exactly 15 minutes!
