Works on Silverado 1500 4.3L V6

Although Revain says it doesn't fit my 2010 V6 Silverado, it worked great. Replacement on this engine requires removal of the air intake pipe from the throttle body and filter box. After that, make sure the negative battery terminal is disconnected before removing the wiring harness. Once the wire harness and battery are disconnected you will need to remove the throttle body to release any clips holding the TPS to the side. 10mm nut for loosening four screws.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing here

Exact TPS replacement Cleared 3 OBDII codes

Bought this TPS because it was an OEM for a 2010 Chevrolet 5.3 on a Suburban. Easy installation by removing the throttle body. While you removed this assembly from the vehicle, clean the throttle body with a throttle body cleaner. This will improve your MPG. Be careful when unplugging the electrical connector as it will break if you are not careful. It took my car 6 days short drive to turn off the MIL warning light. Better price than local auto parts stores, not an aftermarket replacement butโ€ฆ

Straight seat, idle problems fixed!

However I have not replaced it due to code issues on my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L engine but I have had very poor throttle response on slow starts and sometimes on a truck. idling below 500rpm when coming to a stop at a red light, causing my truck to almost stall without even stepping on the accelerator. This seems to have solved my problem and it drives and idles and runs like a new truck again. The perfect fit and disassembly of the old part and exchange for a new one, including clampsโ€ฆ

Per OBD error code P0121

After troubleshooting this trouble code and testing the throttle position sensor/switch "Aโ€ circuit range/performance on my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3L (LC9) 4X4, I found that the sensor for this part was not working. causing the error code to flash intermittently on the check engine light on the truck's dashboard. The genuine OEM part in this review's description is the exact replacement part needed to troubleshoot the pedal position sensor. It came complete with a sensor cover andโ€ฆ
