Review on ๐Ÿ”ง ACDelco GM Original Equipment Throttle Position Sensor Kit 19259452 - Including Clips and Cover for Optimal Performance by Jaleel Pruitt

Per OBD error code P0121

After troubleshooting this trouble code and testing the throttle position sensor/switch "Aโ€ circuit range/performance on my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3L (LC9) 4X4, I found that the sensor for this part was not working. causing the error code to flash intermittently on the check engine light on the truck's dashboard. The genuine OEM part in this review's description is the exact replacement part needed to troubleshoot the pedal position sensor. It came complete with a sensor cover and clips that attach to the intake manifold body. Please note that the clamps are a bit tricky to install and require considerable force to fasten. Tapping lightly with a small hammer worked for me, but take extra care not to damage the plastic component if you decide to use this method. It's been a little over a year since I bought this TPS and it broke so I thought I'd come back and update my review. I bought this TPS in January 2019 and it's now June 2020. Go figure and I'm sure it was that damn Carol Baskins' fault. Anyway, my Chevy gave me two codes, P2122 and P2138, which the code reader described as a throttle position sensor/D/E switch with little communication with the ECU. Symptoms encountered included a loss of engine power, loss of traction control, and an inoperable intake throttle body, causing the engine to starve for air. I went to Advance Auto and bought a new kit and had it replaced within an hour or so because I cleaned the throttle body when it was removed from the car. I no longer had any error codes or engine lights on the dash and the issue has been resolved. I think the part is worth 52โ‚ฌ at the parts store.
