This is the third cooling pad I've tried and it's the best. I tried Cooling Pad #1 which was barely breathable. This unit has the highest airflow I've tried, and while it's not the quietest, the noise level is more than acceptable. The problem with these cooling pads is the advertised airflow (CFM) versus the actual one. Another device I tried produced almost imperceptible airflow. This device definitely moves enough air and you can feel it! In terms of actual performance, I see a several degree Celsius drop in CPU/GPU operating temperature and most notably heat dissipation at laptop case temperature. This cool box is worth trying.
