Review on Coby TF DVD7005 7 Inch Portable Player by Tone Hatton

I got this DVD player as a Christmas present. I know it's a cheap DVD player and got it as a gift so can't complain. But I'll point out a few things in case you're thinking about it. Screen: The screen resolution isn't great and you don't really see much change in the settings, but you can watch DVDs on it. Compatibility It plays DVD-Rs I've burned and most factory bootlegs I've tried. Some bootlegs are muted. I don't know if it's a player or a disc as some bootleg discs won't even play on my Panasonic or Samsung DVD players, but the disc works fine in a computer DVD drive. I haven't tried original discs as I don't have them. It also plays MP3s and pictures. The resolution of the images on the screen is not very clear. Battery: I haven't had a chance to watch a full movie on it yet, but the battery seems to last a long time. I have only charged the 3000 mAh battery once since receiving it. The battery can be charged during use. Cable: I love that it comes with a power adapter and a car adapter. I don't know why it doesn't come with a cable for video and audio out. It has video and audio outputs but no video input. :( I was hoping I could connect my iPod video to it so I could have a bigger screen when watching videos. Conclusion: If you're looking for a cheap DVD player and don't want to spend money on a more expensive one, this is it not that scary it's light enough screen size is good enough dvd more on that as it has a bigger screen and better I give it 4 out of 5 stars for its cheap price and it does what it's supposed to do even if it is not particularly well done.
