Review on πŸŽ’ Farpoint Travel Backpack by Osprey Packs - Optimal Backpacks for Travel by Ken Coste

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It has exactly what it needs although I didn't realize it before

Over the years I've had many East German and American surplus backpacks of well known brands. The people at Osprey seem to have learned a lot from all of them. This is not a backpack. This is not a top package. This is necessary in order to conveniently transport and keep in order a large number of things. It has straps and clasps - inside and out - wherever needed to allow access and keep things together. The material is light and yet appears durable. The zippers have locks that will release if you lose fine motor skills. The device is also very convenient. Padding and mesh are placed where it's supposed to be to prevent chafing and over-pressure. A carrying system on the hips and shoulders distributes the weight well, while a mesh insert lets sweat escape. The inner pocket and the handy opening for my hydration bladder and Camelback tube are a very nice change from other backpacks I've had. And then there are things you just wouldn't think of. This includes, above all, the lid and the handle, so that the backpack can be safely covered and used as a piece of luggage on the plane or train. Excellent foresight. So I threw away my old backpack and will go with this one. Well done Osprey.
