This was big enough to fit my feet (and I have big feet - mens 13). The set has everything you need., but I would invest in more wax immediately. This set only comes with 4 pounds, but needs at least 6-8 pounds.The 20 minute fast wax setting worked well for the initial four pounds I put in. The issue is it became too hot to actually use at that point and I had to wait for it to cool before dipping my hands.I bought this for my Aunt who suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis and we dip her hands 2-3 times a day to relieve the pain and provide her with a bit of comfort. These machines all work pretty much the same, they heat the wax and you dip. I would spend my money on quality wax and not necessarily an expensive melter. The benefit is in the wax itself.
