PRO: Significantly better sound quality than the headphones Apple ships with the iPhone and iPod, in particular much better bass. They fit better, are more comfortable and stay in place better when running, jogging or just moving. The package includes two additional sizes of ear tips for people with a larger or smaller ear canal. The cable is longer than Apple's and has a sliding clip that can be adjusted to the length of the cable for attaching to a belt, collar, and more. This comes in handy when jogging, cycling etc, it helps keep the headphones in place. CONS: Longevity issue. I keep buying these units because of the great sound quality for their price, but this is my fourth set of these in six or seven years. All three of my previous sets failed at the input connector - apparently the daily movement of life wears out the junction of the cord and headphone jack. Each time the headphones would intermittently lose a channel, which I was able to fix by fiddling with the cable, and then it got to the point where only one channel was audible. Then in the trash. There is no microphone and no device control. These are normal headphones. Also, the only possible negative I can say depends on your devices - unlike Apple headphones, they have a right-angle connector. Apple and most other headphones have a straight plug. I prefer the right one because it doesn't stick out that much when my phone is in my pocket, but some thick phone cases don't have enough room for the right connector. Therefore, if you are using a heavy, shockproof case, these headphones may not work.
