Review on 🚲 ZHIQIU Comfortable Bike Saddles: Extra-Wide and Thick Bicycle Seat with Integrated Molding – Anti-Rain Design by James Nedumaran

This saddle replaces an original 16 year old saddle. The original was quite comfortable but wore out over time. I temporarily mounted one of my old road bike saddles on the bike which was a mistake. A road bike saddle on a mountain bike or cruiser just doesn't work - an uncomfortable combination. I saw this saddle at Revain with some positive reviews and an amazing price and decided to give it a try. (My road saddles cost 5-10 times that.) To my delight, this purchase turned out to be a great decision. . Looking at the reviews it seems like everyone gave it five stars except for one person who only gave it one star. My guess is that the saddle was not properly mounted and adjusted on the post. Mounting and adjusting saddle height and angle is very important if you want a comfortable ride. Especially for long trips. Final points - the design of the support mechanism is somewhat innovative. It offers practical attachment points for safety items and/or small bicycle accessories. This makes it convenient to mount a tall taillight or reflector on the pillar without restricting rearward visibility. The saddle appears to be made from a durable PVC-based molding material that roughly mimics "faux leather". How durable it will be remains to be seen. But if I can use it for a few years, it will be worth the purchase.
