My favorite type of phone grips were ring grips that could be used as a stand and they also had a magnet for the car mount. The downside to this is that after a month or two of rolling and using it as a grip, the resistance needed to hold the ring in place to support the phone is completely lost. The benefit of this little device is that part of the stand only moves when used as a stand so I doubt it will wear out and should work for long. I carry my phone while running and I love the strap. Even more so because it doesn't slip or tighten on the lower (wider) part of my finger. I am so happy with this purchase as are all my friends who have also had to get one and have tried mine. I actually came back here to buy another for the second case I use occasionally, which is entirely doable because the price is worth it! UPDATE: The magnetic plate fell off after a month causing my phone to fall to the floor. Luckily the phone survived, but I need to be sure it's not a risk, so this option is for me.
