One-hand operation (requires practice): useful BACKUP

Most people are familiar with two-handed magnesium block lighter systems, which are always my favorite choices, such as the B. the Friendly Swede emergency lighter made of magnesium alloy. Blocks (3 packs), new and improved version (other systems available). BUT the main advantage of this lighter (which is the main reason for including it in my kit) over other systems is that it can be used with one hand, which is a welcome addition. However, there are a few downsides; 1. The latch can be difficult to operate with one hand. needs practice, next time it will be easier 2. You need a HARD surface to "light" the match. That's because you're pressing directly on the surface (one-hand operation) and can't work in mid-air. but that's not the main point of BlastMatch. Advantages: 1. Can be operated with one hand and directing sparks onto the material is generally "easier" than with two-handed systems (see video). Please note that this provider only supplies you with BlastMatch and not additional Tinder as some online reviews have stated. The build quality seems a little "weak" but it hasn't broken, so the build quality is satisfactory for the moment. Every group of people should have duplicates/backups, and fire is so important to survival that most people have at least three systems.
