This travel backpack offered every comfort imaginable when traveling with my dog. I bought a small size. I have a 15lb Chinese Crested that I took on 4 flights recently. I used it as a front-facing backpack to keep my hands free. I carried it by the top handle and also pulled it like a suitcase with wheels. I've tried practicing it at home before, so it wasn't entirely new to him. It worked perfectly in every way. I was a little nervous about carrying it as a backpack on my back as it was very new to my dog and although it has a clip to attach it I didn't know if it would try to pop out. I didn't completely close it. I kept his head up. I had no problems with the airline (American). You didn't even question. It's semi-flexible and fits under the seat in front of me. It comes with a removable/washable cushion lining the bottom and back for your comfort. When you put him on his back to slide under the seat, your pet still has a pillow to lie on. I probably wouldn't recommend it for dogs much over 15 pounds. Sometimes I thought it would be too heavy for me to carry. There are two pockets which I have used for a collapsible bowl, treats, pee pads, tissues etc. Make sure you consider the weight of the carrier and supplies placed in the bags in addition to your pet's weight. The quality is excellent. Definitely good value for money.
