I see a lot of bad reviews about this remote control, I think the details and clarifications are fine. You must have the original fire remote to pair with a fully standard fire stick. There's no way around it. If you have a working Fire Stick without a remote, you'll need to use the Fire TV app to pair this replacement remote. It also cannot be bypassed. If you have another Fire TV remote, you can disable it, restore the device you're working with, then pair the replacement, and finally disable the borrowed remote so you can then restore it to your native Fire Stick. After that, the TV and volume controls should be learned. There is no workaround. Get this replacement remote control and the original TV remote control. Yes, there is no way around it. Press and hold volume up and power down at the same time and the remote will enter learning mode. Release these keys. Press the button on the replacement you want to power. The lights will flash. Shoot the power code from the original remote into the top of the replacement remote. It flashes quickly, the code has been learned. Repeat for the remaining keys. Then press the power and volume down buttons to stop learning. I've tried this on several makes and models of TVs. That works every time. Undoubtedly, it takes patience and a bit of technical skill. If it doesn't work, then you did it wrong. What did you expect for €20? For your health!
