This add on filter comes in handy when you want to upgrade from a 5 stage to a 6 stage reverse osmosis system but the drawings and the actual kit don't match - although it is still able to work. Just note that you need to make sure the fittings are suitable for your system. This kit will not work for all reverse osmosis systems. However, a few brackets, hoses and unusable fittings don't justify the price.
