I bought a Corsair HS70 a few years ago and it lasted about a year. And then I bought a Sennheiser EPOS GSP 302 headset with a great microphone. By the way about this headset. The headset has a really good sound. Amazing bass (I'm a bassist) and very clean highs. And what I really appreciate is the lack of dirty mids. Deep bass and crisp highs are good, but the lack of muddy mids is even better. Clarity should be what you need, and these headphones tick that box. However. The wearing comfort of this headset is rather uncomfortable. My previous HS70 LE headset was surprisingly comfortable, but these HS50 Pros aren't exactly comfortable. They sit snugly on your head, which is one thing, but they pinch your head quite a bit. In addition a somewhat coarse headband. I'm starting to get nausea and a slight headache from the ear pads and headband so I sent them back. But for kids under 14 I would definitely recommend it.
