Got this set for my 11 year old gamer. It's definitely noise canceling because he never hears me when he's wearing them. The sound should also be incredible as he spins them and has no complaints. Not a perfect pair of headphones 5/5 stars but for the money they are 10/5. If you're expecting quality Sony audio from $50 gaming headphones, you're wrong.
