I wanted to help my sister after Hurricane Maria. It has now been out of service for over 6 months. I built a system that I could order from Revain and shipped most of the components direct to Puerto Rico. I ordered a SolarEpic 40A MPPT solar charge controller, four 136W Uni-Solar PVL-136 PowerBond PVL flexible solar panels, a POTEK 2000W inverter, three 12V to 110V AC outlets, and various wiring and fuses. . I pre-connected the controller and inverter and wrote detailed instructions for connecting everything else. Luckily I found batteries in Batteries Plus in the PR and ended up using two 12VDC batteries for the project. current at 155 amp hours. My sister and nephew installed the system on 03/03/2018 and since then it has been powering their fridge, a couple of LED lights, a fan and charging phones and computers with no problems. These products are excellent and offer very impressive performance.
