I read all the reviews before purchasing this item hoping to protect my 2 broken big toes. This shoe didn't protect my toe! This can help others with other foot problems, but will not protect the big toe if it is broken. The velcro is not strong enough to hold your finger in place without flexing it. So I had to keep my toe stable and in place. With that being said the company gave me my money back and it was good! But be careful if you want to save your broken toe๐
