Do not try to use the intercom function. It will never work. The person is not heard without significant delay, then the person cannot understand your voice and it never works. In addition, since the camera is hard-coded, it is very difficult to restart it. You have to open it, move it away from the wall and then press the button with the hole to reset it completely. This means you have to add it again to your hub/setup. So instead of just rebooting to fix the video/audio issues, you should reset it completely. Arlo support is terrible. Arlo somehow managed to ensure that all searches only show their knowledge base pages. And these sites are almost useless for troubleshooting issues. I can't find a support page that solves my video and audio issues. I haven't tried any competing products because I've already invested in Arlo (6 cameras and a doorbell) and didn't want to add another hub/app to my setup. But I wish I had just bought another camera and missed the video doorbell altogether.
