Buy another camera and use a regular doorbell

Update: Finally, by connecting directly to WiFi and bypassing the hub, most of the video problems have been solved. So I can't use the doorbell with Homekit, but at least it records a usable video. As a very satisfied Arlo Pro camera owner, the Arlo Video Doorbell was my first choice. While the Arlo Pro camera is great, the doorbell is not, which is ultimately why I decided to return it. Installation was easy and plugged into my existing Arlo hub. I noticed a very significant delay of about 30 seconds that made the two-way comms unusable. Reliable, good functionality, very good integration with Alexa

Can't rate well if it doesn't work

I bought this item with high hopes but ended up being very disappointed. I followed all the instructions to install it and got to the point where you turn it on and plug it in. When I did this I didn't get the expected white LEDs on the doorbell. I have another version that indicates the problem. When I wanted to see what the light bulbs mean, I read for the first time that I had a bad transformer. Big!
