Not for very cold weather
I think it's wrong to expect a pair of cycling gloves to work under 40F. They fit well. When it's very cold, I wear them under a thicker pair of winter gloves. I think if someone needs real winter gloves, then choose motorcycle gloves. The quality is good, but the palm padding could be wider and thicker.
