Read Edit below my original post:If I could do zero stars I would! I got this item for my medical alert service dog so she could lay next to me, to make it easier to alert. I took it out of the box and was excited that it came with a carrying case. First it said to attach wheels in the holes at the bottom. I pushed the wheels through the holes they didn't lock and fell right out. There is no way to lock the wheels into the holes at the base. I finally gave up trying to push the wheels farther in the hole and started on the base. The material was very thin and flimsy I observed for $175 which was $190 with shipping. A lot of money for someone like me. First I pulled up which was not as easy as they suggested, pushed down the base, it locked and the promptly unlocked. I went round and round about 12 times before it finally locked but not fully, the base locking kept moving. I then went up to lock the top outside base and now matter up much I pulled up, it would not lock into place. I even tried turning it upside down and putting my foot on the bar to lock it. The material of the bed kept pulling the locking mechanism down so it wouldn't lock. I went to look to see if the material could be removed so I could see the locking bar, but no luck. Material could not be removed. I tried to undo the base locking and start with locking the top outside locking, and that didn't work either. I am disabled so I had a guy friend come over and after 3 hours of trying everything we could think of he got so frustrated he told me to return the piece of trash. I went to the companies website to send an email, which I rarely do, and they are trying to sell this for almost $300 on their site, the exact same item! Insane as this item in my opinion is not even worth $190. The material is extremely thin, the metal bars are flimsy and hallow, and most of it is plastic. I had to have revain send UPS to pick it up, let alone how in Gods name I am going to get this thing back into the box. If the replacement does the same thing I am going to be very disappointed. This has been a huge inconvenience. Will see if I modify my review once I get the replacement. But my initial experience is definitely going to factor into my opinion let alone the company trying to sell this for $300 on their own site. Put a bad taste in my mouth. I hope if your looking to buy this you have a better experience than me!Edit as of March 18th, the company emailed and called me horrified by what had happened. They were very caring and stated I got a defective item and they were sorry and that they prided themselves on their quality. They sent me out a new item and stated they would call to make sure I got it set up correct. What started as a bad experienced ended in good customer service. Item has not come yet when it does I can edit again and give a fair review of the item.
