I bought this to add to the base of a pair of plain white lampshades (shades) in my dining room. Wow! What difference does it make without being too girly or playful? In fact, the ribbons/beads make the pedestal lamps look quite trendy and expensive. I'm deducting a star because they are not of good quality. Beads and ribbons MUST be handled with care as the beads will not be sewn on as securely as desired. For something like a lampshade, this is the perfect choice. Do not attempt this on fabric or anything that is processed frequently. I plan to buy more flowers!
