For a long time I chose between color and bw with a stylus. I already have black and white at home, 6 "akunin beech, so I decided to try color. The colors look like an old book, where they are faded. But these are technology costs, I knew about it, read reviews, watched YouTube. The main thing is that there is no radiation from the screen, this important, as children will also read. Thanks to the stylus, this is the first "book" in which they can draw. Let them "come off" better here than in school textbooks. The book has compact dimensions, it is quite light and thin, it is convenient to hold it, but hence the problem with autonomy - the charge is melting before our eyes. Previously, e-ink books were enough for a month, now for a day, if used to the fullest. It is clear that in terms of hardware they have become more powerful, but now e-ink is not about autonomy and in this regard they are very close to ordinary tablets. It would be better if the book was made thicker, placed a larger battery and the stylus would be inserted into the case. Firstly, it will not be lost like this, and secondly, you can disable the wacom layer, as on Samsung smartphones. I suspect that wacom is constantly running and this also drains the battery decently. Disappointed by the lack of physical buttons. On the cover they are far away, each time it bothers to stretch, it remains to tap on the display. On Akunin beech, the management is more thoughtful. Well, and finally the price. e-ink technology has been around for so many years, but it is not getting any cheaper. The book is not for everyone. And the cover is expensive, but without it, nowhere.
