I've tried many products to lighten the dark blotchy freckles on my face and honestly haven't noticed much of a difference (other than the occasional allergic reaction). I've been using this product for about 6 months, I added a SPF 100 product during the day as there was little point in lightening the freckles at night and adding them back during the day. Gradually the freckles are fading and I no longer have freckles on my freckles. I recommend that you don't apply this and then try rubbing it in - this creates small white flakes as several reviewers have noted. I use the product at night, starting with damp skin, dabbing quickly and spreading a small amount of the product on easily. I must add that I have very sensitive skin and am on the mature side at 60. Also, this product appears to be genuine, the same product is retailing here at a significantly higher price. If you are looking for impressive and instant results, this product is not for you. But it really works and this is the first time in my experience.
