I'm so damn happy I stumbled upon this solution. I crushed my Honda Accord key as I closed my front door. I was looking for solutions and spent a couple of weeks fiddling with a key wrapped in a rubber band. In the end, after this thing falling apart countless times, I decided I needed to spend $250 to buy a Honda spare key.
