Hephis Bottle Opener Carabiner Chains Review

I bought it primarily as a bottle opener and it's so inefficient for the job that I ended up taking it off and putting the carabiner back on.

looks good. heavy physique. although it didn't last long. only about 9 days. and I don't carry my keys all day. The rivet broke in half, was replaced with a cotter pin and has held to this day.

I just got this in the mail yesterday. Heavy keychain but I used the bottle opener ONCE and it broke the tab right away. Difficult conditions? You shouldn't expect customers to actually use a bottle opener. Ooooh disappointed!

The key fob seemed very sharp to me. I used the two loops at the bottom of the chain for some of the keys, but hung my automatic keys (which I often want to unhook, practice, etc.) on the carabiner. Lost car keys twice. They were eventually found by good Samaritans at a restaurant and gym. I gave it up. Not functional for my purposes.

This is a very small belt clip, no more than a couple of keys. The clip feels like it's going to wear down our weak spring quickly because a long gap feels like a dollar or two gas station items. The bottle opener simply slides off the bottle and, after a few tries, barely sticks to the polished, worn edges. There are two rings in the set, but they are very thin, square and not thick, round.

I bought this to replace the NiteIze carabiners that kept breaking. I looked everywhere for something that would allow me to attach a bunch of keys and a small key knife without slamming them together. This item worked very well. The two things I've attached to it barely touch, making it quiet when I'm walking while it's strapped in my belt loop.

At first glance, a medium-heavy, seemingly solid keychain. However, black is just a cheap finish and it will wear off if key rings rub against it, leaving beautiful black streaks on any hand or any light fabric it's on. The rings around the metal hinges are a pain and a half due to the thickness of the metal and create a scratchier finish that wears down all your stuff.

I've been using carabiners (not climbing) to store keys for over 15 years and the loop on it always loosens or dislocates after about a year or so. I stumbled across this one and decided to give it a try. Have been using it for a few months now, it's built like a tank and the bottle opener is solid. Terribly disappointed. The first opportunity to use it after putting the keys on it was as a bottle opener. So I pushed on the spring clip to unscrew the cap. Just a terrible design, probably pushed for another version to look big and sturdy, but it's a waste of time. The geometry of the bottle opener is so wrong that it won't grab any of the caps, which I've tried several times, even pulling down on the keyring with the keys to bite the caps.
